shoe emergency!

I interrupt this Holiday Sparkle Fest with a serious cry for HELP!

See Ann Taylor Loft's pretty new ad campaign?  Oooo!  Ahhh!

Yes, yes, fine and dandy and sparkly and warm-goldish and lovely... BUT LOOK:

No. Air. In. Lungs.

As of lunchtime today, these shoes have become Shopping Sleuth Priority Numero Uno... as well as a Necessity, right behind Air and Wine (but ahead of Cheese - this is serious business, folks).  Here are my (anti-) clues so far:
  • Not sold at ATL - those fools don't carry footwear of any kind
  • Not sold at Ann Taylor
Soooo... Not very helpful.  Here's hoping the lovely ladies at Customer Service will enlighten me with the answer to this riddle sometime within the next 24 to 48 hours.  'Til then, my Perfect Gilded Floppy Bow Heel Tip Line is officially open for business in the comments!  Hot leads shall be rewarded tenfold with Magical Fashion Karma!

  5. OK, just a little bit to rant here since I do advertising and marketing: NEVER use someone else's product in your ads.

Even though they are gorgeous, they aren't Ann Taylor (Loft)--so, as we're out hunting for these shoes, the money is going elsewhere. Not smart, kids, no smart.

But those shoes are killing me!!!!

  8. Yeah, they look like the Louboutins. Interestingly, however, I have a nearly identical pair that I got at Dillard's this time last year when I was a bridesmaid in a wedding. My bridesmaid shoes were definitely NOT Louboutins...

  9. I even called ATL to find out about the shoes and after being put on hold for forever to ask, the answer was "i'm sorry we can't give any further information out about those." ha!

  10. Y'all may have seen this before, but you can MAKE a smorgasbord of gold shoes here.

If only this had been up and running when I was on the hunt for my red wedding shoes, circa last year. I would have ordered a pair (or 3) for sure.

  11. Errrr, one can't post pictures in comments - for logical reasons, I'm sure. Regardless, there is a gilded floppy bow heel option for $150.

  12. Kate Spade makes a similar pair here, at much more reasonable price point (although they still cost a pretty penny, mind you!)--
