Bah Humbug, Halloween.

I didn't used to be such an October Scrooge, you know.

Mellowcreme Pumpkins are like manna from heaven.

But after last year's Trick-or-Treating Situation, I may just have to pack it in and go all Jehovah's Witness up on Halloween's ass.

That is, if this year's signage doesn't kick the neighborhood brats' manners into high gear.

Festive, right?  Maybe add a little glitter?

*Remember when E used to cheer for the Sooners?  HA.  Now who wants to buy a Colt McCoy Fathead for Quesita's nursery?  They always come around, I tell you.

  1. You should start an Etsy shop to sell those signs. I know I need one.

  2. Omg, that's great! Should also be customized for bratty kids at birthday parties, restaurants, movies... The options are endless!

  3. This is perfect, and I agree with Mint Juleps and Magnolias, you need to create a printable for this! I know I'd print one off to hang in our front window! ; )

  5. I was just talking to a friend about this today. Punk teenage "trick-or-treaters" are the worst!

  6. So, I love reading your old posts. If you notice a billion hits someday from my town, MO you can rest assured it's not a creep- I'm just bored.

Anyway, my husband totally trick or treated every single year until he went to college. I always hated the loser older kids who did that until he told me it was the only way he could get candy at that age since he lived on his own (from age 16) and had to pay rent. Womp womp womp.

  7. At least you get trick or treaters. We live out in the middle of nowhere and no one ever comes to our house. Go us!

  8. Would you be angry if I plagiarized that sign to put on my own door? Love it!!

What really gets me is when you've turned your lights off and trick or treaters still ring the doorbell. Didn't their parents teach them better than that?

  9. haha hell yes! Please put that sign out! I still live in an apt so I dont get trick or treaters, but we get them at the mall I work at. And sorry but some kids still annoy me.
You can still carve a pumpkin!

  10. Love it! I'm actually turning off our doorbell and sitting outside on the porch with candy so they don't wake up the baby... and carding anyone who looks over 13. Hah :)

  11. LOVE this! Might have to borrow it for the pint-sized asshats in our own neighborhood. I don't remember being so rude as a trick-or-treater...kids today!

  12. Dude, I am anti-Halloween this year. I don't know why. I think I just don't have the energy to come up with a costume and all that jazz. I actually sought reasons to be out of the city so that I specifically DON'T have to participate. I do wish I had a house with cute little trick or treat people that would come and visit though.
