Guess who is totally pumped up about the next 17 days?

I will attempt to restrain myself.  No promises though.

Ahem. 

I am definitely An Olympics Person. 

I love the pageantry... the back stories set to stirring instrumental muzak... the leotards. 

And I am guaranteed a good, ol' fashioned sobfest when the national anthems start to play as the victors take to the podium.  

Plus we get to rewear our snazzy Fourth of July Outfits!  

{By "we," I mean L... mini-patriotic commercialism never felt so fun!} 

I spent the vast majority of Beijing 2008 in Thailand drinking cold Singha, getting full body massages for a nickel, and trying to find a Panang Curry as good as the one I ate every Monday in Waco, Texas for the entirety of law school.  So, really, it's been a good 8 years since I fully indulged in Olympic Greatness. 

I am so ready.  Who's with me?
