blogging fail / shiny happy things

i had some super hilarious, witty, brilliant (obvs) social commentary working itself out in my head last night (specifically concerning the doorman at the W) but alas, there are apparently many things to be done this morning that are more pressing than my Dallas Diatribes (or so "those people" who sign my paycheck ever so subtly imply).

so, as i am sometimes apt to do, i shall cleverly distract you with shiny items!  in fact today, we have The Shiniest Item of Them All: The Neiman Marcus Christmas Book!  clap your hands with glee, children!

oh!  and, Dear Santa: i have been relatively good this year, and while i think i could pass on the Personal Cupcake Car (a personal sacrifice for sure), i would rather enjoy the Hall Artisan Wine & Art Experience.   well yes, i realize its $20k, but give Kathryn a call... we're practically twins!  perhaps there's a wine club members' discount?

  1. Oh and HOW! That sweet little book IS lady-porn! My husband is holding mine for randsom! It was delivered to his office! GRRRR. Silly man, I just went to the NM website and viewed it. Darling post Doll.

  2. So my J.Crew post was a little delayed but I broke down last week and bought the pink tissue cardigan and plum dress. Since my apartment office is holding the UPS package random (who closes at 6pm? i cannot get home fast enough to pick it up!!), I finally get to put my fingers on these items this evening and CAN NOT WAIT! WIsh I could justify the price tag on the ribbon coat right now... so sad.
